wax worms question

I fed approx 3 a day to my male Veiled for a short time as I moved him into his adult viv (it got him hand feeding - he loved them best). He stopped eating his crickets for about 4 days, because I ran out of Waxworms. It's not just that they are unhealthy - a Cham will often refuse other food and try holding out for worms.........I now haven't given him any for months - and he won't eat crickets at all now, but at least he likes Locusts. He never seemed at all picky until the waxworm addiction.
Feed very few, if at all. (I would say one per day maximum, that never gave me any problems)
