watering system

Carletto

Hi everyone! i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on a watering system for my little Carletto. up until now i have been misting the cage by hand. then i tried a home made dripper system with a water bottle but niether are working for me. i will be going back to work soon so misting 4-5 times a day is impossible and the dripper system is a pain because to get the water out of the bottom tray everytime i have to pull out everything inside the cage and i also found that the dripper would just stop even if there is still water inside the bottle. would anyone be kind enough to tell me what works for them? i will attach a pic when i work out how to do it LOL!

My friend, its time to invest in Mistking or an Aquazamp.

They are automatic misting systems that you can set to go off (i have mistking) 8 times a day for however long you want each mist. However, you'll need a drainage system because it puts out a lot of water.

here is what i did. I went to wal-mart and bought one of those storage shelves. I bought the solid plastic ones because they are cheaper, but the nice metal slitted ones would work best IMO. Anyway, I drilled a 1 inch hole in the top shelf, then i drilled a small 1/4 inch hole in the bottom, middle of my cage. center the two holes over each other, and put a big bin on the next shelf and bam! youre troubles are over.

Indeed, as many others on the forums will tell you I'm sure, the Mistking system is excellent. I bought the starter kit and it was the best value I've seen in a long long time. Well worth the outlay in my opinion, and it really will make your life easier.
