Watering Pothos?

Ive had a pothos in spikes cage for about 5-6 months now and ive never watered it really i just spray it down when i mist the cage i was wondering if i directly watered it every once and awhile if would it grow faster?

How does the pothos look? Is it drooping, as in leaves not standing out? Are the leaves green or are some yellow? All of these things help determine if it needs more water. What do you have close to it for lighting? Sorry but I can't answer your question without more info.

pothos generally don't like a lot of water and prefer to dry out between waterings. It's very likely it's already getting enough, or more than enough, water just from mistings. A sign of over watering is leaves will turn brown/black.

The leaves are really green only a yellow one every now and again that i will just pick out. the repti-sun 5.0 is all i have for lighting. Do i need a seperate light for the plant?

additional water really isn't going to make it grow faster. sunlight or maybe a grow light and fertilizer will do that. obviously, use caution if you fertilize with chemicals.

the search button? jk, but I have no idea about grow lights for a cage. i would prob stick to a linear type blub over any high powered grow light thing. i'm sure there are some threads out there that will answer your question straight away.

I "flood" my pothos every few months, dumping ALOT of water on them, and then let them completely dry out. Extra light would help, though they do fine in low light. Go to any store that sells light tubes, and you'll find some meant for plants. Simple as that.
You say your reptisun is the only lighting - do you not also have a basking/heat lamp?

of course i have a heat lamp i just meant that the repti-sun is the only light i have that puts out uvb

Well the plant will use light from both. though the output from a florescent in the 5000k to 6500k range with much of the light in the blue spectrum will better promote overall green plant growth
