Hi !! I'm new to the forum..Glad to be here. Looking forward to a support system as I prepare to receive, enjoy and care for my future pet Cham. The message I posted in my profile describes my current set up. Looking for some help in solving the problem I have. The automatic misting system I've just purchased has a minimum running time of 2 min (This is aloooot of water ) Looking for some advice as to where I could get a catch basin to sit my terrarium in without costing too much. you may need drainage, you may not. if you get enough potted plants in there they will absorb a good amount of fluid. slightly angling the cage so that the water flows into a gutter or trough that feeds into a bucket or resivoir may be your only option depending on how much watter you system in putting out
Get one of these for $30 and put it under your cage. H2O and misting is one of the most important things to get correct. Drainage is a way of life for your husbandry.
