Waterfall question

I recently bought a waterfall without thinking about bacteria. So is there any way to ghetto rig it like putting a filter on the pump or anything or should i just return it. If i dont return it if i cleaned it every day would it be safe to use? Also are there any automisters that are like $50?

I would return it, and the cheaper misters seem to have a bad rep for breaking over and over again. Save up your moolah and get a mistking

Yeah, return it. Even cleaning daily can be difficult due to all of he crevices you have to get in to. I tried it for my frogs and gave up quickly, its just a mess.

its hard to clean the insides/ tubes / small crevices, and they provide no real value IMHO. If it were me, I'd take it back.

that said, I do know someone who uses one in a terrarium (not chameleons). They take it out to clean it only once weekly, when they scrub the outsides with a stiff brush, and then run white pickling vinegar through it, and then rinse out by running hot water. Im not 100% convinced this is adequate, but so far they've had no issues.
