Is well water ok? Right now i do filter it but curious if i really need to.

You'd have to get it tested to be sure. There could be some minerals and things in there that you may or may not find beneficial. Here's a link for some research from the CDC...

If you are using it with an automated misting system, you may need to clean the nozzles more often.

I'm on well water. It should be safe if it is safe for you. If your filter is necessary for human consumption, then you should use the filter for your animals also. If you don't know, have it tested or go with the filter.
