Water conditioner

Is there any difference between the water conitioner for a reptile, and one for fish? I have a freshwater aquarium, as well as a chameleon, and have both types of conditioner. My reptile one is the Flukers,,and is a bit sticky. The fish one I use is usually Prime, but there are just plain dechlorinators available.
Just wondering that's all, as it seems, with the fish ones, you don't need to use very much per gallon, 0.1 cc, as opposed to 1cc.

I was wondering the same thin but do you need to use a water conditioner even if I filter the water with say a brita?

Brita will remove most chlorine from water BUT not nitrates and fluoride. It is not designed to remove nitrates or fluoride.
