should you use bottled water or what? and if I am feeding a 3 month old chameleon and I wanted to have crickets on hand to gutload how many should I purchas at one time and what size. sorry so many questions.

Its best to use distilled water. Bottled water or water that has been boiled work as well. I am not sure about tap water though, I myself boil water then let it cool down and have it ready to fill up the sprayer. Whenever I run out of water that I boiled I used some bottled water, and everthing looks fine with them.
