Hello I was wondering I just got a umbrella plant and its going to rain tomorrow so my question is can I just stick it outside in the rain have it get washed that way or do I have to use soapy water? Thank you

Spray it down really well with soapy water then put it out in the rain so it'll clean off the soap

I use the "bucket method" for cleaning plants, best way to go imo...
A hefty squeeze of dawn dish soap(im sure any would do) in a 5g bucket.
Fill the bucket up with water
Then take the plant(i usually strip them down to the roots prior to this since I re-pot all my plants with organic soil) upside down, dunk, and swish around 3-4 times.
Then let sit for five 5minutes and rinse
Then repeat two more times.
I realize this may be slight overkill but I hate to lose a cham to something silly as pest/herbicides
