well the baby I got arrived today. I had thought from the pictures I showed he was 5mo old was originally told that but just found out he is actually 13wks due to the sire I choose. He is in a huge cage all alone with his lighting and supplies in my bathroom, the warmest area of my house due to the weather. How can I keep this youngin warm enough to survive the cool FL weather right now and should he be in a smaller cage to keep him warmer right now? Any help is greatly appreciated right now cause I want to do whats best for him to help him settle in and stay safe. Please help me make the right choice for him as he deserves it and I am willing to give it to him.

A smaller cage for babies is easier for you and easier for the cham to find food, spend sufficient time in the UVB, etc.

Keep the room the cham is in at around 70F (buy a space heater if you have to) just as you would any other time of year, and use a small basking light to provide a warmer spot / heat gradient.
