Waldo's stand for his big boy cage :)

Looking great!

Thanks, I think the semi finished product looks pretty good myself, but i think I have decided to get a bigger plant. I am going to hang some vines too but I still want it really full at the top. I may put another bottom in and sit the plant directly in the cage.....IDK we will see, I have this week to play with it

What i did is took wires on the edge of the pot ran it through the screen and wrapped it around the top braces. works great. I get her
new cage monday and im honna set it up then have him send her :)

Maybe you could use a plant stand or something else to sit inside the sink and elevate the plant from underneath. You could always hang a plant too.

Put a couple more plants in it today. I forgot on the pen plex cage there is an aluminum bar across the top so I just hung the fern on that....seems sturdy enough. Sould get my lights this week, make a DIY rain thingy, and going to add vines for climbing as well as maybe a couple more plants if I can get some info on the philodendron scandens, I posted in another thread.

I will post more pics as I add more to it.

Got my lights in today and will add vines and acrylic back tomorrow with some short acrylic strips on the side to divert the water when it comes down the side of the screen, as well as a few more plants for the walls. I put together a DIY rain system and i am going to test it out this week as well.m Will be good to go in a week or two. I will get some more pics once I have it finished.

How did you get your plant to hang? Cud I need to get
one in mine lol

I use bamboo across the top, it is very strong and lightweight. It is great for the interior of the cage and is cheap as dirt in the garden section of Home Depot. You get like 30' of it for 3 bucks.

I then use a zip tie to suspend the pot from the bamboo, through the top screen. I use a T-nut with holes support the hole.

This picture may help a little, but it is pretty dark:

Put the lights on top and black acrylic on back. Going to put climbing vines in tomorrow. I will probably use my dual exo terra fixture with two 6500k bulbs as the fern really is blocking a lot of light from the ficus so I was thinking of putting the exo terra towards the front. We will see :)

Her it is today, slow but steady

It's looking great! How did you attach the acrylic?
Thank you, I painted the back of the acrylic and put the part not painted facing the screen cage on the outside and drilled 4 holes, one on each corner then attached to the cage with zip ties.....love me some zip ties :)

Looks legit! Awesome! :)
Thanks!

I put vines I today, working on the misting/rain stuff and mounting the basking light tomorrow and then hopefully I can get him moved in Sunday maybe if all goes well. A lot of the vines you can't see, some are in the back :)

This is such a great set-up. Need to find out how to hang a plant in our Reptibreeze. Does anyone have any pointers?
