Waking up before lights on

Lately I have noticed that my cham and dragon are waking up before it's time for me to turn on the lights and heat for their enclosures. I am wondering if when I see that they are up early if I should turn on their fixtures or wait till it's the normal time?

Well you should have the lights on timers and they should be on at the same time every day. It's normal for them to wake up on their own time, mine all get up around 7am and lights go on at 8.

I personally only use digital timers. The analog dial ones always seem to malfunction on me with keeping the time cycles accurate. Spending the extra money is definitely worth it in my opinion!

Mine wakes up before the lights come on just from the small amount of light coming thru the blinds.
Timers will make life easier for you and better for yours.

Mines wakes up before the lights too because of the light from the window. Unless it's cloudy or something and remains dark in the room.
