Can anyone offer an opion on the vivs from vivexotic im looking at a bigger enclosure for my 9 mths male yemen. i cant do a screen enclosure as im in the uk and only have 12% humidity in my new build house, its a struggle to keep my current exo terra at 60% plus the weather and temps in london are rubbish. im looking at the larger one.

It is made of "chip board" which is very easily damaged when exposed to water. I also read on their site that you the buyer are responsible for sealing the wood and that the 2 year warranty does not cover damage from water.

i did notice the need for sealing but im struggling to find anything of that size in the UK, so i am expecting to have to replace it evey couple or years!!!! The standard enclosure in the uk seems to be the exoterra which my guy is growing out of very quickly! i may have to see if i can find a carpenter who could make me something.

Could you use a screen enclosure, but cover 3 of the sides with plastic or something and leave the top and front screen?

The only screen enclosures ive seen here are the exo terra flexerium which i have for that one day of the year that the uk gets sun, and to be honest they in my view are fairly crap! very flimsy with an anoying zip and ugly. i would idealy like some thing that also matched my furniture but met all my chams needs. i think i may be asking for to much
