So, i have been reading that chams should only get calcium w/d3 twice a month. I have been giving mine d3 twice a week. She also gets multivits twice a week. Should I cut back? she has a uvb bulb. thanks.

Yes cut back. I alternate the d3 and multivitamins every other Sunday. Then the rest of the week plain calcium. Too much d3 can be bad because they could possibly overdose on it.

it depends. there is no single fixed schedule that fits all situations.

what brand of vitamin supplement is it?
what type of chameleon is it?

Some brands are far more potent that others. some brands you would use once or twice a month, others once or twice a week.

Some types of chameleon are more sensitive to supplements than others and need less overall.

It also depends how you gutload.

here are 3 links to information that will help you decide what is best for your situation and your chameleon

They should be getting most of their d3 from the UV.

If it's a fairly new bulb, at least 5%, and not too far from your cham, you
should be okay.

You want to lightly dust her feeders every day with plain calcium.
Your calcium + d3 and multivitamins should only be twice a month.

If your cham is lucky enough to be outside in the sun, you can cut back on
the d3 supplement, but not the plain calcium.
