vibration questions

Long story short I'll be living in a house with 21 people and my room is adjacent to a main hallway. I'm worried about too much vibrations coming from they're and possibly two neighboring rooms.

i don't think it will be too extreme though, are they're ways to put something under the cage or something like that to absorb some of the vibration?

i plan on putting him in a walk in closet type thing that has no door, should i sound proof those walls with foam? please help

My cham is in my bedroom that gets low traffic but my house I'm living in is 120 years old so when I walk by it shakes. My baby panther has just adapted and now it's second nature that if I'm in the room the floor is gonna shake a little. Mine doesn't worry or hesitate at all, but 20 people might cause alot of commotion, let's hope it's already insulated well. Sorry I can't help with suggestions.

I'm thinking I could put a lot of padding under the feet of the table the cage is on and under the cage and on top of the table

My chameleons get a simulated earth quake every time the washing machine runs. Then a few more with the drier.

latest I just added a window shaker A/c to their bedroom as well. They dont seem to mind all the vibes.

thanks for the info jack, its nice to know as many personal experiences as possible, seeing as how i'll be getting him at 3months old he'll grow up in an environment like that so he'll be used to it.

but im still going to put the tempurpedic down

Any kind of padding and insulation can't hurt. I think doing the walls is a little overboard, but a nice rug under the table and some foam below the cage will help.

thanks for the tip rosco, if anyone said it would be necessary then i would have done it but after some more research I'm starting to think it won't be necessary.

Now I just need to find some good padding
