Vet name?

Quick question...So i'm writing an application describing what area of vet medicine I want to specialize in. Obviously I want to become a reptile vet. Is Herp Vet the official name or what is it actually called?

I feel really stupid asking, as herp vet is all I've ever heard/said but their must be something else right?

Maybe use a more general term such as "specializing in care of exotic species including reptiles and amphibians". To many practices if it's not a dog or cat its an exotic.

Herpetology I believe is what its called

"Herpetology" would apply if you worked in research (herpe="to creep", reptiles, and -ology="study of").
