Hello chameleon forum members,

I have had something tragic happen.... my 11 week old baby translucent veiled passed away suddenly and unannounced. I did my usual morning ruitine with her turned her light on set her in the open window and gave her a good misting and some crickets and left for class. I have back to back classes for 8 til one so granted its a long time before i get to check on her again. When i returned i found her on the bottom of her cage miss colored and around her eyes were all purple. I'm not even sure what happened. So i will no longer be posting anything until im ready for another chameleon i really loved the little girl :,(

I am sorry for your loss. Loosing one of these guys is never easy. An autopsy might help you figure out what happen. Also filling out the Ask For Help form would be helpful to know if anything was off in your husbandry.
