There is no yolk sac in the picture....so there is nothing to make it grow.

Did the egg slit at the end or somewhere else? It might be that your eggs are being kept too moist. Can you post a picture of the eggs? How many days did it incubate.

I have never dealt with this type of thing before, but I'm pretty sure you have to keep it moist.

I don't think that it will survive...but its always worth a try.
Good luck!

I'm not 100% but these are probably his nosy be/ambilobe crosses he was talking about wanting to produce when he first started out. I doubt this baby will make it, but if it does that is great! Is there any way you can find the yolk sack? If i remember correctly that yolk is what helps the development. I dont know anything about eggs, but someone said there's no sack so maybe it cuold be in the tub?

No it is 100% nosy be...but there was no yolk sack attached to him...butheis still breathing and.....i dont knw wat to do

can he move? I'm not sure if i would keep him moist or not...but definitely warm. I have raised a baby goat that was born prematurely and we had to feed him nutrients through a syrenge. I am not sure how you would get the nutrients into him, but something needs to go in for nutrition.

Goats have nothing to do with an egg, but i assume its the same general idea. We kept him wrapped in a towel and under a heat lamp all night.

i would suggest asking an experience breeder to talk to you about it in the chat

i dont know... sorry i just know that if he gets cold he will definitely die. maybe some other way of keeping him warm?

sorry to say this rikky , but at that state, he will not survive. he will dry out very quickly, the skin will become damaged as it has nothing to protect it at all, its open to a ton of bacteria, and many other problems.

the egg sac is usually connected to abdominal tissuea and the egg itself. once the sac is gone there is nothing to feed it.

Its my opinion that this one will not last long in the state he is in. BUT i don't have much experience with breeding/baby chameleons.

i just telling you my opinion of it. birds are still pretty different jernelee they take far less time to incubate, and develop far faster.

I know nothing about chameleons But if that was a parrot I would keep moist and but drops of pedilite The babies dehydration drink in it mouth. A parrot and monkey too, can be in really bad shape and pedilite will bring them back.
hope it makes it. Only time will tell
thanks jerry

Jern, thats with a already hatched baby.

this one is really premature... it would be like a baby bird hatching in the second week.

Very true a Macaw egg hatches some where around 28 days. It has been years for me in the parrot business.
good luck
