That's awesome! I was pulling for an Oustalet's but a Verrucosus is still a marvelous animal. Congratulations and yes post pics soon!!Picked up a young, male verrucosus at Houston Repticon 2day! Maybe 5-6 months old?? Will post pix after I get him home and settled in!(I think he's male, has pronounced spines...)

. But on a serious note I can understand waiting to not stressing him out. I don't know much about Verrucosus other than they are glorious chams, so I don't how they fair in captivity and with stress. Is he WC?

Congrats on you verrucosus Maxttu! In my experience they're really shy... Try to give him some space the first week. Then let him get used to you slowly..

Thank you! Boy or girl, he's a handsome thing! I'll snap some pix later, feed him and that's it! I have dubia and picked up some calciworms yesterday. I can't believe that petco actually had calciworms!

I find calciworms ideal food. The worms but also the black soldier flies! They really love to eat both. Please post some pics! I'm really curious ;-)
