I bought a large bag of Vermiculite but the chunks are large(ish), I've crushed it down as much as possible, does it matter how corse the lumps are for egg incubation?

I bought a large bag of Vermiculite but the chunks are large(ish), I've crushed it down as much as possible, does it matter how corse the lumps are for egg incubation?

I find the courser the better. Seems to hold moisture better that way. Does not dry out as fast
