Are Veiled chams really as moody as everybody makes out? If I was to get a veiled and handle as much as he is comfortable with from a young age would this change anything when he is older?
Really want to get 1 but heard mixed comments on how grumpy they are?? But I've also heard panthers can be moody too but mine is fine and loves to be held, so I'm really confused!! Cheers every1

Again it all depends on the cham, i have heard that some veileds were super nice while others were super grumpy. I have also heard of some veileds being really nice at first, but once they hit the adult stage became very defensive. So it all depends

So I've basically just got to keep my fingers crossed or get another panther lol

lol yup, but some panthers are mean or scared(MINE) too............so cross your fingers for that too

Ive had my male veiled for a week today & he is just as sweet as can be (4-6 month old)...he loves to be out with us or on the window ledge...but I know that might come to a end when hes older but for now im enjoying it

Surely they can't take a finger off lol, my girlfriend really wants 1 in our dining room! Was gonna get him a 3x2x4 viv exotic for him

Check out my new picture post I just made "Cami Hosts a Birthday Party". I will always have a veiled, I was blessed to have the two of mine that are so sweet and easy to handle. My little panther is a bit of a grouch, but we are working out our trust-issues!

Not sure how to check out that, I'm a noob lol. So it really is both panthers and Veileds that can both be grouchy!! This makes me want a veiled more lol

Haha there is a General Photography area on the forums page. Veileds and Panthers are both great. Each chameleon is very unique in its personality. Veileds are tagged as more aggressive, but if you show them respect and allow them to warm up to you and trust you in their own way and at their own pace, their keeping can be incredibly rewarding. I love them!
