i just weighed her, is 83g a good weight for an 11 month old female who eats every other day and has nice she was 7 months? i understand it all varies and depends, but for those who have weighed a female with this eating plan, do any of you recal roughly how much she was, and was she gravid or not?

11 months old: 159 grams
One year old: 157 grams
13 months old: 174 grams
14 months old: 188 grams (laid infertile clutch)
14 ½ months: 146 grams
15 months old: 155 grams
16 months old: 160 grams (mated)
16 ½ months: 194 grams (laid fertile clutch)
17 months old: 150 grams


Camille now eats three days a week.

hmm.. this is very odd. maybe i misweighed her. i will again. but if i get the same results, is there a problem?

No problem at all. I use to feed Camille 6 to 8 feeders every other day but now I keep her much slimmer and only feed her 3 times a week 5 to 6 feeders depending on size and even less if it's big worms.

She should be fine. Less is better unless she is sick. Have you ever had a vet check up and a fecal?

i wouldnt at all believe she is sick. she is always alert, always eating fine, has poop the size of full grown hornworms (not realy lol but you get the picture), urates are more pale then comedian Jim Gaffigan (dont know if you guys know him) and has a grip stronger than Chuck Norris. i am going to be schedualling her for an x-ray apointment to see if she has eggs. but the vet just got booked up. so i have to see the next available date. should i dust her food more with plain calcium? i kind of feel like ive been jipping her, she gets fed every other day, but every feeding they are dusted. so.. hmm

when i say she is chilling on her lowest plant branches, she doesnt at all look lethargic or anything, but sometimes looks like she is venturing around. she used to eat dirt, and bet she still would if their werent rocks covering her soil. so i dont know, perhaps? guhh... this girl is confusing the bugs out of me.

i have jann, you sent me the link a little while ago. very good blog, and that is what im going to try and do tomorrow. i have a large recycle bin about 2.5' high by 2 wide and 1.75 deep. a female before started digging in this. it sucks though, my girl must be very picky if this be the case because her laying bin is like a condo. i dont know why she hasnt explored yet.
