I'm planning on raising and possibly breeding some ambilobe chams. I have raised but never bred jackson and veils on and off for the past 15 years. How much more difficult is it to keep panthers and breeding them. Before the flaming begins, I'm not planning on breeding for the profit just the fun and experience of doing so. I know its going to cost time money which i'm prepared for. This plan will not be carried out until I get back from vacation in a couple months but I'm trying to prepare now. I will have possibly a trio of 2 females and 1 male or 1:1 depending on what is available to me. The male of course will have his own screened 72x24x24 enclosure and i'm debating on keeping the 2 females together in the same sized enclosure or separate, any suggestions on that? I hear 2 sides its ok to keep females together and the other side says no. And as for babies, I have many aquariums (from old fish hobby) which I will build DIY screened cage toppers to provide both the humidity of the tank and the free air from the topper. And eggs raised in a DIY incubator which plans were given to me by my old high school teacher that raises exotic snakes. And lastly I raise my own crickets and will have ff's available for babies. I guess maybe I could of broken this topic up into different threads lol so mods place this where you see fit. So, any suggestions? Are they any different from raising jackson or veils and does my personal breeding project sound like I'm ready or lacking?
