You can use anything except pine (unless it's pretty old and completely dried out). Pine can have some irritating sap residue for years, and is also more prone to slivering and causing eye and nasal problems.
Because cham cages have so much ventilation, you don't have to worry about the decomposition of the wood you use, so you can really use anything you find.
To be specific, Oak, Malaysian driftwood, Ghostwood, and Grape wood are excellent choices.
