I have a question about my male veiled chameleon. He 6 months old, and i was wondering how big should he be at this age. I just measured him today and he is a little over 5" from nose to vent. Is this average, i will try to post some pictures as soon as possible.
 
They all grow at different rates, but youre sounds pretty normal! A tiny bit on the small side but still in the average range.
 
he seems normal and active he eats 10 maybe 12 crickets a day. He is a little brown sometimes, but mainly because i have my hand in his cage putting crickets in his bowl or just checking on him
 
Yep, sounds normal. I think mine is just a big boy so I think everyone else's is smaller.
 
okay i finally got a couple of pics, so what do you think, does he look about the right size.

What a beautiful boy! For 5 months he is perfect. He has lots of blue, not that common. I adore veileds.
 
i honestly dont know how much he weighs, iam going to try and find a way to weigh him tommorrow and i will reply back. Thanks for the references, i dont want to be worried i just want to be sure.
 
no not at all, to tell you the truth i havent seen him shed yet. He usually sheds after half of the month and then at the end of the month, well it hasnt shed in a month so just curious
 
I finally just went and got a digital scale from walmart and I weighed him and he weighs 79 grams. Is this a good weight for 6 months?
