my male veiled has been spending more time on floor he always seems to be climbing on the floor and walking around then he'll make his way back up the plants is this normal

Mine is doing that at the moment too , hope someone could shed some light on this...Mine has just been shedding so i thought maybe that had something to do with it??

patrolling for bugs, or Just checking out his domain. as long as they don't STAY on the floor, it should be ok.

I'm not as experienced as some people on here but I have heard as they mature
they may roam more looking for a mate. Can't blame em for that:D

I agree with Marty, they're probably looking for some more bugs - they might still be hungry! If they stay there, however, that's a bad thing.

How long has he been on the ground? Couple minutes? Couple hours?

He's probably doing as others have said. Keep an eye on him, and if he stays in one place and/or his colours go very dark there may be something wrong.
