Veiled laying eggs...

Found my veiled digging in her laying bin today, she has dug a deep hole but I haven't seen her come out for a few hours...should I disturb her? I'm a bit worried.

veiled eggs

I would sayleave her alone.........i was sooo paranoid the first time mine laid eggs, but she knew what to do.She was so skinny the next morning and resting on a branch, but after awhile went back to covering her hole. I dug up 60 eggs that day! Poor thing. (too bad she has never mated!!) I hope all turned out well. It is so stressful for them AND US!!

Figeretta is right, it's best to leave her until she's finished. Even if you have to leave her overnight the less you disturb them the better. If she's digging in the right place you should have very little to worry about :)

Females will even sleep in the hole.
shes fine.
it can take them hours to dig out the perfect tunnel, then find the perfect spot to lay, then lay, then bury the hole.

it took my female 3 days from start to finish.

DO NOT DISTURB HER.

Thanks guys. She's all finished and perfectly fine :) first time for her (and I!) and a very neat experience I must say!
