Cage Info:
Cage Type -36"x18"x18" all screen made by fl chams. was in a unused bathtub on a crate about 2 feet tall. But recently moved, and now shes on top of a desk bout 3feet tall by a window in a low traffic area.
Lighting - Exo-terra Sunglow daylight 100W and a flourscent 26w uvb? I think? I got with the orginal purchase of Lucy as recommend by breeder. She wakes up round 6:30am and her lights go off at 9pm.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? 85 or so in her basking area's and 72-76 in the lower areas. no colder than my place gets maybe 60 before the heater kicks on. I have a loose therm. from an old cage.
Humidity - It hard to keep it down here in Houston even with out misting it can be 65-75% at time but i keep a fan to help with that.
Plants - just artif. ivey and vio-bines and similar things
Location - I coverd this but I do try to move her whole setup outside on weekends, or just infront of a window. just thought i should add that
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Veiled female 6 months i think. she's been with me for 4 and a half moths. She was very small when i got her but i don't know an age.
Handling - Very rarely i tend i let her ride a stick to where ever shes gonna stay during cleaning
Feeding - Cricket's large and small- fresh from petsmart usally, also med. meal worm's and wax worms. A drangonfly that caught her fancy and a walking stick that i kept for a day or two to " clean" him off. I feed the cricket flukers cricket feed an quench.
Supplements - reptical twice weekly
Watering - I mist and spray for about five min. every morning about an hour after her lights come on, and if i can get anyone to mist during the day i instruct the same, mist for few min-wait for a few min. and then spray again i also spray as aso as i get home from work, and at night some times. She will follow the drips but seems to slow to catch drop's. I see her find puddles and figured out where the streams are and drink right up though.
Fecal Description - White with a cricket chunk or two. some yellowishness at times
History - She has always had a thing for the bottom of her cage since day 1 I check temps and their fine but she just like to crawl on her carpet for a while it seems
Current Problem - I have been worried ever since the hurricane.(ike i live in north houston, shit got bad)She had to be in a glass aqur. for a week and didn't get much food but seemed to make it through ok. Then all of a sudden she started actin weird. showing dark stripes and spot's for no apparent reason. her appetite dropped big time, so i thought maybe she's gravid, i put together a lil bin for her. Then she just starts sleeping all day and won't move from her perch. she ate about 6 crickets the other day but still is very inactive. Then i come home today and she wont even respond to my touch I'm freaking out. She had moved but when i went to feed her i noticed she was sleeping so i thought i would water her a lil aggressivly and see if she would respond and nada so i reached in and grabbed her. she woke up but just enough to repost and go to sleep. HELP!!!
