I was just curious at about what age do veiled chams reach full potential in size and color? I realize that it is probably varied for individuals, but I was just curious what some experienced keepers thought.
Personally I think a male cham is fully developed at 1 - 1 1/2 years. Arnie got more muscle in his legs and tail after 1 year, but I wasn't paying too much attention.
I heard the same 12-18 months to reach full size. My female Vieled is about 9 months and shes pretty big. I would like to measure her and weigh her tonight, If I can. I'll post her pic and measurements, for a comparison.
My male Veiled at 2 years old just went through the most complete shed of his life and looks different then he did last week! At 7 months Leon was not all that large, but by 15 months he was a giant.
Yeah I have a couple Veild males around 10+ months old..and there small compaired to my females..! There growing but verry slowly! I cant wait till they get bigger! If they do!
