Veiled female not eating.

Hello everyone,

I've got my veiled chameleon for 3 months now.

She is a female and if math does not fail me she is 7 months.

So why am I here? Well, last Friday I wanted to add more green and climbing plants for my girl. So I moved stuff around the cage and placed everything I wanted.
She has more space to hide and climb. Now she hasn't eaten since that day (last Friday).
I have a 5-finger deep bioactive soil under all these plants.

I'm getting scared bc she does not eat. btw i don't know if I'm right but i don't think she's moved from there since last night.
When I get home she is normally in the basking light. I also saw that she is getting all puffy and throwing air out of her every time I touched her.
She eats Rubia and mealworms.

It looks like to me she may be gravid based on some of the color I see. Or getting there (that's out of my experience!). Hopefully someone more experienced with females can help soon. But I believe this would explain her loss of appetite recently.

She looks like she’s producing eggs IMHO. Has she been digging in the substrate at all? Do you know when she got the mustardy coloured splotches and blue dots?

How much (number of insects and species) have you been feeding her in a week lately?

You’re so lucky to be in a country that has the Mediterranean/common chameleon/chamaeleo chamaeleons living there! I’m in envy!

I saw her once going down to the substrate a few days ago. I work 8 hours. I have a 5-finger deep substrate where she can dig. I just now covered the entire cage to give privacy.

bee feeding her 3-4 ever 3 days.

I would put a proper egg laying bin (washed playsand) in the cage. They don’t always like the substrate we provide.
