Cage Info:
Cage Type - 68 gallon screened reptarium

Lighting - i have a super UV light from petsmart that is supposed to take care of those needs as well as 2 heat lamps. One of them is a 75 watt mall lamp the other is a 75 watt heat lamp or lamp type thing that i used to keep my goats warm in the winter. I started using the second one because I was afraid it may be to cold in there for him

Temperature - the basking area is probably low 90s and the bottom of the cage was 82 when I used a little thermometer that you use for humans. I haven't gone to walmart to see if they have any thermometers the pet store was out until tuesday

Humidity - I'm not sure about the levels, but I mist the leaves about once every hour because I'm in lubbock texas and its really dry. I also have a fogger that sits in a bowl on the top and drops a mist down into the cage.

Plants - A few fake ivy's right now and a real ivy that i just recently put in there(within 30 minutes) I am also about to put a hibiscus in there. I just saw him eat the real ivy so he is eating fine.

Location - It is on my dresser, about 3 feet off the ground. It probably gets a decent amount of air from the fan but nothing to bad I dont think.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - He is a male Veiled Chameleon. I just bought him today from a pet store who hatched them. I have seen them for sale for a while and i believe they said he is about 12 weeks old. He is about 4 inches long. He has grown alot since they first had him for sale.
Handling - The pet store never handled them so he got pretty stressed when they grabbed him out of the cage (showed off his colors and bit at the store owner.)

Feeding - I'm feeding him crickets that he has been eating since a baby. I'm not sure what they put in their food, but I bought the orange stuff to feed them. I also have some dust to dust them, but I haven't done that yet.

Supplements - They are called orange cubes. I have a mineral dust for them but its still in the car, dont remember the name. (its the only thing they had at petsmart.

Watering - I have a little waterfall set up in there as well as I mist the leaves. I have seen him drink out of the waterfall as well as licking the leaves.

Fecal Description - havent seen any yet(just got him earlier today)

History - All I know about him is that he doesn't like people that much,(is tolerable to crawling around on me but doesn't like coming out of the cage so I havent made him.

Current Problem - I'm not even sure if anything is wrong. I just bought him and now he's coughed a few times. I don't really want to take him back because I really like him. He looked coolest and had the best personality of the ones they had left.

Thats a picture of him. Its with my cell phone thats why its not great quality

Was it several coughs or just one little short quick one? My cham has done the one little quick one before.

it was just a quick short cough. I'm new to chameleons, just checking to make sure everything is ok with him. I'd hate to lose him :(

I've read many sites like that as well as looked at nearly every post on these forums up to page 20 or so >.< I just installed a dripper for him. My friend had one because he used to have a chameleon in highschool but had to sell it due to not being allowed to have it in the dorms. He hasn't really noticed it yet. He seems fascinated with the waterfall He sits on top of it and takes a drink every now and then
