Veiled chameleon package

Hi, i was wondering if anybody has ever gotten the veiled chameleon package from LLLreptile because i was planning on getting it for my first cage. Is there anything else i need for it other than supplements, fogger/rain system? Thanks!

I'm not 100% sure if the kit you're talking about is the cage with the zipper but save yourself the trouble and get their metal screen cage. You won't look back.

Yes, its the metal 18x18x36 cage.

i think it would be a good option if you are new to chams, because it is a much more affordable option. if you are a more experienced i think going for a screen cage would be better because it is more durable. but if you are new it is a viable option.

Yeah ive decided im going to get the metal one, but i was wondering what else i need to get to keep the new cham happy

I am also new to chams, but just got my second one this week(first one was a too young baby that only lived 10 days in my care ). You are going to want to get some kind of habitat for the crickets and other feeders. I got a Big Dripper that I love. Not sure if the package comes with a live plant, but I recommend that, as it really helps with humidity and adds a bunch of different levels for the little guy to climb on. Plus, I bought some smaller dowel(sp?) rods and put them at different heights throughtout the cage, for basking and such. Hope this helps. If I think of more I will let you know. Good luck! I thought about buying one of the packages, but ended up just getting everything myself, and I know I spent WAY more than I would have if I had just bought the package!

If thats the one you are considering I would deff change alot of things with that 'kit'. Check out any of the cham breeder sponsors. We all have kits that have better items within.

Thats the one. What else would I need with it? I already have different supplements, a fogger, and crickets + cricket food on my list.
