Veiled chameleon not shedding properly?

Hi everyone, I have a Veiled chameleon that's about 7 months old and he got done shedding about a three weeks ago. I have noticed that the top of his crest has still not shed. Its only the top as well. Its also very purple and the white skin is on top of that. I've been misting him thoroughly but nothing has happened. Please help! Thank you!

As veileds get older they shed in sections. My veileds almost always have some shed on some parts of their body. You can provide extra warm misting during major shedding and that seems to help.

sorry it took me so long... These other two pictures that are not of the Veil I had questions about... So, the one that's of the left side of his face, if you look closely to the right you can see a black dot... there's another one close to his mouth as well... I was wondering what those were because hes had them for a while. The one that's of the right side of his face, I was wondering if its normal for the place around his eye to be blackish brownish? Sorry for being so paranoid lol. Its my first Cham.
