Hi. I am a new chameleon owner and today I noticed that our chameleon was laying on a perch. I was wondering if I should be worried of if this is normal. Pics are terrible sorry!

Hi. It looks like you have a female I think. How old is she and has she laid eggs before?
Hi we just adopted her from a couple 2 days ago and they said she had not yet laid eggs. She is a year old. She was awake and alert in the pictures and had both eyes open. She has been eating normal and been pretty active the last couple days. She obviously has been a little stressed too with a new home and environment.

Laying on a branch is fine and not very unusual. You’ve started a few different threads so for the sake of trying to keep things simple, I’ll go to one of your others.

Please post photos so I can see the chmeleon without losing the branches in front of it.

Look at its heels and take a photo of the heels too from the back when the foot is on a branch. I'm looking for a tarsal spur.
