I've had my veiled since December from petco and they had no information on himself went off the assumption that he was a boy. I went out of town for two days and came back today and noticed my veiled was all black (sign of stress) and then I noticed EGGS ! I was aware of the strang digging and did my research and was told that he just wanted to look for food on his own so I was NOT prepared! I am aware that reptiles can reproduce on their own but my concern is with the eggs. If there is no sperm, will the eggs survive and become fertile? I am very concerned about these eggs, PLEASE HELP!!!!

No worries, the eggs are infertile, your cham laid them successfully it seems, make sure she is hydrated and fed very well, take special care in the gut load and calcium intake at this point

If she hasn't been with a male recently then they are infertile. Hopefully she laid all oof them. If she doesn't eat and drink quickly and shows signs of lethargy, sits low in the cage or sleeps during the day then get her to a vet right away. Good luck!

Awe... so no chameleon babies? That's makes me sad a little

In case you haven't read through it already, this caresheet has a section about females and egg laying. There is also a link at the bottom to another article about laying bins for females. https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/caresheets/veiled/

For future reference, Veiled are probably the easiest chameleons to sex. Males will have a small spur or bump on the heel of their rear feet.

Keep an eye on her as Kinyonga stated and good luck!
