Veiled chameleon hasn't pooped in days.

Hey everyone!

It's been a while since I have needed to post here, but, unfortunately, something is wrong with Jo-Jo.

Last week I was incredibly busy (finals are coming up at my college), and I was not able to get her crickets. I saw online that I could feed her bananas, and since that was the only thing that I had at my house that she could eat, that's what I fed her. She only had bananas three times before I gave her crickets again, but since last week, she has not pooped yet. She usually doesn't poop that often to begin with, it's usually every three days, but it has gone on so long this time that I'm starting to worry. Is there a chance that the bananas impacted her? She been drinking a lot of water, so she should at least have to get that out at some point.

I know that with impacted frogs that you can soak them in various mixtures involving warm water mixed with something else, and I was wondering if there is anything similar for a chameleon?

Thanks in advance.

Water is a good thing.

If you are worried, a bit of mashed pears or pear baby food helps get things moving.

I was also told a drop of mineral oil but haven't had to resort to that for my little guy cuz the pear baby food worked every time.

I bought one jar and keep it in the freezer and scrape out just a bit when he needed it.

Good luck and hope everything comes out okay!

That one needs a nice long warn shower. If I spray Lenny while he is on a branch, after a few minutes when he warms up he is guaranteed to deliver a poop. Most people use a shower but I warm r/o water and hand mist by kids. We both enjoy it.
