veiled chameleon falling from vines

a few days ago our veiled chameleon escaped her cage and took herself for an adventure. when i found her she was on the floor hissing at our 2 dogs. i did not see any immediate damage or wounds. ever since shes been falling from her vines and very lethargic. any ideas what might be wrong?? hopefully just stress!

It is possible she was injured at some point while on her adventure. Could you post a picture of her? Is the cage up high, where she could have fallen? Are you positive the dogs did not hurt her?

the cage is about two feet off the ground. i did not see any external signs of injury. shes been very thirsty today and was finally able to get her to eat 2 meal worms

That seems like a lot of bruising on her side...

Shes either got gout or MBD. Those limbs are swollen, the reason she fell is she is too weak to perch.

any suggestions on what to do? shes our first chameleon so any advice helps
