Hi,
my veiled chamaeleo female has given eggs some weeks ago. Today these eggs are not good, they seem cooked, their colour is yellow...

this seems so strange cause the eggs were good at the moment of laying...

maybe the first eggsof a female could be not good as in snakes?

the female is gravidcause she shows the colours typical of the status...

She will have the second eggs right next the first?

thenk you

When my veiled girls breed and lay eggs for the first time I find that about 1/4 to 1/2 of the eggs are infertile. Once it is time for the second batch and so on I usually only lose 1 or 2. If you have a few different girls and you are breeding them to the same male and still getting a lot of bad eggs. It could possibly be an issue with the male and not the females. I have a 8 year old male that is not fertilizing that many eggs for me anymore, his past 3 clutches have not been that great. For me that is time for some new blood. This was Marvin's last clutch one of his girls laid 50 eggs and now there is only 24 left. Not very good odds. The bonus about Veileds is that the eggs hatch in about 5-6 months compared to the panthers at about 7-10 months. These ones are due in about a week.

I've 2 females and 1 male, they are1 years old.
but the 1 female is bigger than the 2 so I prefered to put only the 1 with the male.
As soon as possible I will make some picture of the eggs so you will tell me what do you think about them.
thankyou verymusch you are verykindly!
