veiled cham!

Found a guy getting rid of a 6month old veiled, he says he has been breeding little red rusty roaches as feeders I've heard of using certain roaches to feed but ive always used crickets gut loaded if I get the cham.is it going to be stressful switching him to crickets or should I buy the roaches I'm not a fan of having roaches in my house but i dont want to totally switch his diet! Info please?k?

Everything will be fine if you switch his staple feeder. Just make sure you throw in some variety.

From what i have read from other people whos chams go on hunger strikes, just keep putting crickets in there. They won't starve themselves with food available. Be sure and gutload them well though.
