Veiled Cham scab from Cut

OK im so scared on my veilds casque he a black line so I picked at it to see what it was turns out it was a scab and under it was a layer of pink skin . I then put some antibiotic and pain relief ointment on the pink skin and left the rest of the scab alone the whole scab didnt come off just a little piece will he be okay oh I cant post pics as it is too small for a camera 2 pick up

Is the scab on the top of his casque?
Could he be getting burned from his basking light?
He should heal fine, you might want to call your vet and see if you can get some Silver Sulfadiazine cream.

No it is like a line running down it but very thin and fine im sure it isnt a burn as his lights are high up

I wish I could but my camera is one of those that lightens everything making the scab nearly invisible

Try taking a pic of your chameleon under his basking light with no flash. That's how I take most of my pics.
