Hi =) My boyfriend and I just bought a new veiled cham (our 4,month old unfortunately passed last wk due to MBD, pretty sure she already had c deficiency when we bought her,, rip Tickle!), I was 99% sure it is female.. because I know that males have spurs on the back of their feet... the girl @ the pet shop said she was pretty sure it was male, but we all know how basic the knowledge of a lot of pet shop employees have, esp at chains, like pet smart & petco. Anyway, my boyfriend read something the other day that COULD have been taken out of context, so I was just wondering, do the male spurs only appear when they are very, very young? Or would the spurs still be there however old they get? Thanks! (I personally still think it's female, just want to be 100%!)

thanks again,
Krysta Lee

The spurs are always there. some say it is easier to id the younger they are. once you see a male and female, you will know from then on.
