Veiled cham due but not laying

Hi, my GORGEOUS veiled cham, Annie, mated with my male cham 38 days ago. Conditions for her to lay are ideal to the best of my knowledge: low stress environment, plenty of privacy, nice deep sand pit - sand moist - will hold a tunnel but it's not sopping, she's eating, shedding and pooing fine, just not laying. My book says she should lay 30-40 days after mating but no eggs yet. I don't want her to get egg-bound, but am out of ideas. To be fair, she has always been a law unto herself, so may well lay when she feels like it. Her weight has been stable for the last 3 weeks at 131g and she's 12 months old. This will be her 1st clutch to lay - possile perhaps that her instincts just aren't kicking in?
As I say, any ideas would be marvellous, cheers folks x
