Veggies?

I've read some conflicting reports on what Jackson's eat. A few things I've read say just insects, others say both insects and veggies. Which is it??

My jackson has never ate veggies.


he doesnt really like crickets.


his fav are hornworms and flies.

I have had Jacksons for over 10 years. None of mine have ever eaten veggies that I am aware of.
Veileds, on the other hand, will eat both insects and veggies.

funny I should run into this question, I was just wondering the same thing about my Jacksons female.... I wanted to try some fruits & veggies with her, but since I've also read they don't like to snack on their own leaves in the cage, I wondered if they would even eat veggies. Seems to be a no. lol

now on the other hand, has anyone had any success feeding snails to their jacksons?
