vaporizing my heat lamp

First of all, thank you for all your suggestions on how to keep the humidity up in my little T-Rex's cage, it turned out the thermometer I had was broke or not calibrated or something, so I got a new one - one for temp and one for humidity, between getting that and putting saran wrap on the back and about 6 inches up on the sides I am able to keep the humidity where it should be. However, I am using a vaporizer, misting and dripping only does not do it because it's very cold where I live right now and our only source of heat is a potbelly stove fireplace so we have to use it quite frequently to keep it warm in our house - and of course, that sucks the humidity right out of our air. So, I turn the vaporizer on and mist 3 times a day, I keep the vaporizer on for about an hour each time - it works wonderfully. However, now I'm concerned that the water vapors are going to ruin the heat lamp or maybe short it out or damage it in some way. I have the vaporizer on the right side of the cage pointing inside and all the vapors of course circulate and go up and the inside of the lamp is getting wet. Will it be okay? Or do I need to do something different? If so, what do you guys suggest?
