Vacation

My family does a once a year family vacation (my wife's and my family together). We got into reptiles after last years and haven't thought about the vacation since, or what we would do if everyone who usually takes care of the pets while we go on weekend getaways (now revolving around Repticon) was going with us. Well, in about a month, we're going hours away for a week.

We've done our homework on the food and have that well planned. The water is the only concern. We enjoy hand-misting our boys. They are well hydrated, happy, and I have my veiled drinking from the sprayer almost every single time. I have never even thought about getting a mister, so I don't want to invest in a system for 1 week. I can almost guarantee I will never use it but once a year. When I first adopted Gary, I used a dripper, but it flooded his terrarium, plus, it would need to be refilled, even with a big bucket.

I need some suggestions.

Anybody in that situation?

How long do you mist for? You shouldn't be seeing him drink evreytime you mist he may be dehydrated. Or how long into the mist does he start drinking?

Ok. You know a lot more about these animals then I do. I'm still fairly new to this. I have just seen a lot of people saying that you shouldn't see them drink everytime. But if you say it's not a problem I trust you.

He's fine. His urine poop is white as snow.

I think a sitter is gonna be the best option. Find some friends that are interested in reptiles and good learners.
