I have all automatic things such as a monsoon mister a waterfall and a timer for lights. I was wondering how long a chameleon can last without eating for say I go somewhere for the long weekend (3 days) I was wondering if he could last that long. Just a general adult male panther. Mines 5 months now but I wound go until he is a year.

As adults as long as they are healthy and of a decent weight they can go weeks without food. Not saying that it is good, but they probably won't die from lack of it.I would just leave him a cup of food and that should hold him over for the three days. Or feed him well they day you are leaving and feed on him the day you get back.

3 days isn't a problem. If your worried put a bunch of house fly pupae in a cup in the cage. They will start hatching the next day and will continue hatching throughout the day.
