what can happen if someone does not use a uvb 5.0 bulb? just wondering because i went to a store and they did not have a uvb 5.0 bulb on the cage.

Well if it is a reptile store they may be using a mercury vapor bulb, the store near me uses them. Not sure how well they work, there are mixed opinions and I have never used them. I prefer natural whenever possible. But if chameleon's don't get UVB they aren't getting the D3 to process calcium. Long story short they will die...
