i have a custom 2x2x5 cage. the screen is a finer screen. and the closest i can get the 5.0 reptisun bulb to the spot is like 6 inches if not 8 inches. shld i upgrade to a 10.0?

if the basking branch is within 6-8" you should be just fine. we are having a similar discussion in this thread....

what if i am using like pet sreen so it blocks a lot more then the normal aluminum screen? and the distance is already pushen the distance of the affectiveness of the bulb
