Does anyone use UVB meters to monitor their UVB bulbs? Just wondering, I'm trying to be more cost efficient when buying bulbs and don't want to be throwing money out when the bulb is still useful.
The only meter I would recommend is the Solarmeter 6.2 but they are not cheap so in order to make it cost effective you will have to have a few bulbs that you wouldn't need to replace.
My breeder is a very kindly soul and occasionally lends me his UVB meter so that I can check my lighting. They are very expensive however, so unless you were keeping multiple cages I wouldn't think that it would be cost effective to buy one.
