UVB Length

hi! is it okay to have a uvb that is longer than the cage? i am getting a 2 ft x 2ft x 4 ft cage and am wondering if a 34” uvb would work since i’m hoping to upgrade the cage later on?

Yes this is perfectly ok.

IMO a 24" would be more convienent because it runs exactly the width of the cage and is usually cheaper and it dosent hang off the side of the cage. But a 34" is still fine when it comes to the actual uvb output

Just don't let your cham climb on the outside where the overhang is.

They want to upgrade the cage size. Buying smaller when there is no issue of overhang is just wasting money.
